Best Steak in town for Thanksgiving Dinner with Dad

Steak for Thanksgiving Dinner you ask? Yes is always the correct answer to steak in my family. My Dad's side of the family is a little odd. Long Story Short --Little brother is in college and wants nothing to do with sitting at home eating turkey and gravy with Mom and Dad and his BORING older Sister. That would be me. :-/. I'm not a Turkey eater anyways. So we usually go out to celebrate Thanksgiving the weekend after. That being tonight. My boyfriend being an Illinois native didn't know what little gem was hiding back in my Missouri home town, Best steak I have ever eaten.

Saturday night! You would think one of us would have thought to make reservations. HA that would be too easy. Dave, myself and our munchkin get there first and we ask for a table for 7; us three, Mom Dad, Little brother and his sweet little girlfriend!(I like her). Oh that will be about 1 hour and 30 min says the hostess wearing the reindeer antler headband. Wait for it. wait for it. Ah there it is. Dave's mouth drops literally like he saw a ghost. I give her my name. Dave has no idea why I agreed to wait an hour and a half for food he was a little bit, shall we say frustrated. GUESS WHAT?!? After we ate he understood. BEST STEAK EVER!

BLOOPERS:

We grabbed a bar side table (first come first serve) and all stood around it, ordered drinks and an appetizer. While we waited for our table to be ready. Dave was putting tabasco sauce on the nachos that he was eatting.Guess who caught on? Yes, that's it, our daughter picked up the tabasco bottle and just started drenching the the entire plate of White Chicken nachos. WHOOPSIES she says!

All in all the Steak made up for the wait time which only turned out to be an hour, and the super spicy nachos. :)
